Company Profile

Escadean Ltd was formed in 1969 and was originally based in Luton, Bedfordshire. Its main area of business was rubber moulding, concentrating mainly on the classic motorcycle industry.

The company was purchased in 1990 by its present owners and moved to Aston in Birmingham. Due to expansion in 2000, the company moved to its current location at Crown Works, Perry Barr, Birmingham.

Since moving to Birmingham, Escadean Ltd has diversified its business, purchasing part of the cable manufacturing business from SJ Clark Cables and a business called Plastifilm Products. During this period, Escadean Ltd began manufacturing engineering turned parts, cables and silk screen products.

The business further diversified when moving to the new premises in Perry Barr with die casting, powder coating and the production of light pressings and gaskets being added to the range of services offered.

In 2008, Escadean Ltd purchased The Sherborne Rubber Company Ltd and transferred its own rubber moulding business to that company. Both companies now fall under the Positive Engineering Ltd Group of companies, which also includes MCA (Aston) Ltd.

Escadean Ltd is now in the process of obtaining ISO 9001:2008 accreditation and continues to manufacture a wide range of quality products.
